Conoscete il detto “Una mela al giorno toglie il medico di torno”?
In primavera abbiamo sfoltito alcuni rami morti di un melo cresciuto decisamente fuori controllo già prima che arrivassimo noi. E lui ci ricompensa con i suoi frutti. Si ma non come gli altri anni in cui riempivamo mele a mala pena 2 secchi e ci sentivamo orgogliosi del raccolto nonostante le mele fossero … non proprio buone. Quest’anno non solo sono più succose ma abbiamo mele, mele ovunque. Più ne raccogliamo e più ne vediamo sull’albero per quanto è pieno. Ormai ho smesso di contare i secchi. Così che fare? Stiamo sperimentando tutte le possibile ricette di marmellate, gelatine, persino il sidro pur di conservarne il più possibile. Naturalmente non mancano torta di mele, muffins di mele, crostata di mele, frullati di mele…
Mai come ora avevo sperimentato ricette con le mele. Per cui è possibile che nei prossimi giorni potrei essere monotematica. Abbiate pazienza. ; )

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4
